Alan Snow

Alan Snow, born in Chicago, Illinois was appointed concertmaster of the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic in August of 2017. As the violinist in the Chicago Panamerican Ensemble, he released an album titled, "Voices of Mexico's Past and Present" and will release a second album of Mexican music for violin and piano titled, "Diálogos" in 2018. In addition to receiving top prize at Walgreens National Concerto Competition and the Saint Paul String Quartet Competition, Mr. Snow has served as artist faculty at the Anchorage Chamber Music Festival. A recent graduate of Indiana University, he received his BM under the tutelage of Alexander Kerr and Sibbi Bernhardsson.
